- Cross Registration
- The Tisch Open Arts Curriculum consists of a series of Tisch School of the Arts courses open to all undergraduate and graduate students at NYU and Tisch. Students of different disciplines are given an opportunity to participate in classes in a range of disciplines at Tisch and to develop their artistic interests and creativity. More
- Acting
- The program offers serious students of theatre the opportunity to experience rigorous training through the Office of Special Programs at Tisch School of the Arts. More
- Minors
- Minors at Tisch School of the Arts broaden students’ perspectives of the cinematic and performing arts. Interdisciplinary courses and internship opportunities in producing and performance studies bridge together the business, creative, cultural, and entertainment aspects in each of these art forms.

- Topics in South African Culture -- Fall 2010
- By examining the country's visual, literary, media, and performing arts, students gain a solid understanding of its rich cultural heritage and efforts made to maintain and promote this heritage through various political transitions. There will be a study trip to South Africa during the January winter break. More
