This course offers an intense introduction to college-level professional dramatic training through explorations of voice, movement, improvisation, text analysis, and scene study. It examines the tools and techniques of the actor in performance. Workshops designed especially for this program cover such topics as cabaret, clowning, and self-scripting. Studio classes use techniques that are means through which students exercise their imaginations, learn how to work as an ensemble, and develop a sense of their bodies and voices as expressive instruments.
