Based in London, this course immerses participants in an in-depth British cultural experience. The course covers the influences of British history on its art, literature, music and performance and offers the opportunity to encounter the plethora of contemporary cultural activities currently available. In addition to on-site learning and experiencing the extraordinary cultural resources of London, students are offered field trips to places such as Brighton, Cambridge, Canterbury, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Oxford, with many visits to museums, performances, galleries and more.
