In this program, designed in collaboration with the University of the Witwatersrand and based in Johannesburg, students experience living in a country that has been referred to as a “miracle under (de)construction.” The academic courses are complemented by on-site lectures, excursions, and field trips. The city of Johannesburg has a population of over three million people, and it is a vibrant, multicultural environment in which a range of African and southern African communities mingle.
